(When the East Harlem Music Program was cancelled due to a school budget cut, the students and teacher (Roberta Guaspari) got together to do a fund raiser, hoping to keep the beloved violin program alive for future students. They were stunned and surprised when some of the world's greatest violinists joined them and Carnegie Hall allowed the performance to take place on their hallowed stage. Together, they performed Bach's Violin Concerto in D minor for an audience of supporters including parents, faculty, and well-wishers.
